Can Euroleather make a custom color or product for my project?

Yes, we can provide color-matching and custom articles, however, this requires a minimum quantity order of 500 square feet or about 10 hides.

How many square feet are in one hide of leather?

Leather hides can range between 45-55 square feet depending on the origin.  

How many square feet are in 1 yard?

1 yard of fabric equals approximately 18 square feet.  Hence, you will find a leather hide renders around +/- 3 yards.

What is the minimum quantity I can order?  

Minimum quantity is 1 hide for all of our products in the Performance Collection and products in our in-stock program. Other collections may require a minimum order quantity.   If a desired article from our Signature Collection is in production for another client, a small quantity order can be accommodated.

What is the difference between European and South American hides?

European hides are known for their higher quality, having no brands and minimal defects.  South American hides typically come from Brahma Bulls and average 50 + square feet, these hides are characterized by 1-2 brands and a hole that can appear as open, sewn, or closed with stretch marks.

What are your shipping and receiving hours?

Our shipping and receiving hours are Monday – Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.  

What is the typical cost of a leather hide?

The price of leather depends on various factors including desired quantity, volume, and of course the type of leather. Hides are priced per square foot and can range between 20 square feet for a half hide to 55 square feet for a full hide.
